This week, uBreakiFix, which has been the go-to destination for techies needing repair of their electronics in Mount Kisco, Scarsdale and Mamaroneck for nearly two years, has expanded their base of operations into New Rochelle, under the watchful eye of owner Seth Berkman.
With the world becoming increasingly digitized, and the cost of electronics rising annually, uBreakiFix offers same-day repair service of devices, including cracked screens, water damage, software issues and other technical problems.
Berkman, who owns the other three Westchester locations, is hopeful that the new store in the Quaker Ridge Shopping Center, proves as busy and successful as his other franchises.
“I hope the New Rochelle community will look to uBreakiFix for all of their technology repair needs,” he said. “With our expansion to the new location, we will be able to serve a greater amount of people in Westchester. It’s been great to see the company grow and provide a quick and easy tech repair experience for our customers.”
In a statement, uBreakiFix founder Justin Weatherill noted how important technology and individuals’ devices have become in the 21st century.
"We want to build trust with our customers by taking the traumatic experience of damaged devices and making the repair process simple,” he said. ”As we expand into New Rochelle, we want the community to know there are options beyond replacement, and uBreakiFix is here to provide them with a trusted alternative."
And some area electronics stores, like AT&T's cellphone outlet at the Harrison Shopping Center at Halstead Ave., offer discount cards to fix computers and phones at any uBreakiFix shop.
