Owner Gary Bimonte, the grandson of Frank Pepe, said the restaurant has long focused on the consistency of its pizza, while its beverage offerings have remained simple.

"it’s impossible to deny the popularity and demand for premium craft beer these days, and with such great breweries to work with right here in New York, we are excited to add these beers to the menu.”

To start out the new beer program, Pepe’s has partnered with Yonkers Brewing Company. Expect to find the brewery's 914 Vienna Lager (can), a fresh, full bodied malt profile with a toasted and very lightly roasted grain flavor and a subdued hop profile. Customers can look forward to a series of food and beer collaborations between these two neighborhood friends.

Pepe’s is also offering; Bronx Brewery (The Bronx) BANNER American Blonde Ale; Southern Tier Brewing Co. (of Lakewood), Sixpoint Brewery (Brooklyn)  NU SKOOL India Pale; and Elmsford's Captain Lawrence Brewing Co.

Pepe’s beer selections can also be found on BeerMenus.com. The full menu is at www.pepespizza.com.
