Some Americans Can't Afford Healthcare Even With Insurance

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A recent study suggests one quarter of non-elderly Americans with health insurance don't have enough liquid assets to cover their deductible, according to Yahoo!

The study says 25 percent of Americans wouldn't be able to cover a mid-range health insurance deductible of $1,200 for a single adult or $2,400 for a family. As deductibles continue to increase, even the insured become more likely to either put off medical care, or sink further into debt, Yahoo! reported.
