ARMONK, N.Y. – Stephen I. Sadove, one of the country’s leading businessmen, is joining Daily Voice as Senior Advisor.
As a successful CEO of Saks Incorporated, Sadove led the retailer into the digital age. Since the sale of Saks, he has been advising a number of companies, largely in the digital space, as well as serving on numerous for-profit and not-for-profit boards.
Vice Chairman of Saks from January 2002 to March 2004, Sadove was named CEO in January 2006, adding the title of Chairman the following year. Previously, he had held upper management positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (Worldwide Beauty Care, Clairol Inc.), Kraft General Foods, and General Foods USA/General Foods Corporation.
A resident of Purchase, NY, Sadove is the Co-Founder and Head of TRAUB Accelerator. He serves on the board of many organizations, including Americares. He has served as chairman of the National Retail Federation and is currently Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Hamilton College. He is also a director of Colgate-Palmolive, J.C. Penney, Aramark and Ruby Tuesday.
Sadove holds degrees holds a Bachelor's degree from Hamilton College and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
