The El Dorado Diner, which closed in February, was demolished, to make room for a 23,168 square foot Honda service center. Honda has a dealership across the street.

The diner was an institution on South Broadway, having previously been a Howard Johnson's.

El Dorado still has locations in Elmsford and Scarsdale.
