Giordano received 1,189 votes.
Challanger James Schulz got 574.
Council Republican incumbent Charles Farricker, an incumbent was re-elected with 1,120 votes.
Also elected was fellow Republican Joseph Oravetz with 1057 votes.
Democratic challenger John Danubio finished out of the running with 626.
Returning to office following uncontested races were Mayors Harry Shortway of Midland Park, Thomas W. Randall of Ho-Ho-Kus, Albert J. Kurpis of Saddle River and Joanne L. Minichetti of Upper Saddle River.
