The Yonkers shopping center has announced its lineup for 2013 SummerFest, an annual series of live concerts and free events to be held in the Mall Walk plaza.

“Throughout the summer there is something for everyone at Cross County Shopping Center, whether you like music, art or want to enjoy classic summer films,” said Liz Pollack, the mall’s Senior Marketing Manager.

Each Wednesday, from June 19 through August 21, the shopping center will feature concerts on The Green, in the middle of the complex. Included is a lineup of classic rock, country and tribute bands including the likes of “Amish Outlaws” and “Shotgun Wedding.”

Then, on select Thursdays, the shopping center will feature outdoor, family-friendly movies like “Shrek,” “Toy Story 3” and “Hook.”

Free arts and crafts sessions will also be hosted on various Fridays throughout the summer for children under the age of 12. A Fourth of July fireworks display and Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival in August are also planned.

All parking and events are free. For a complete schedule of events, visit crosscountycenter.com.
