HARRISON, N.Y. The Harrison Public Library will host a seminar Wednesday night on being financially prepared for the different stages of life.
You never know when life is going to change when your finances can change, said librarian Judith Clark. Its always good to be prepared, particularly the way the economy is now.
Gayle Lob, a certified financial planner and certified financial divorce specialist, will be the presenter of Financial Preparedness for Lifes Transitions.
Helping people manage the transitions in their lives has been Gayles calling since 1987, said the flyer announcing the event. Its a role shes abundantly qualified to fill, having dealt personally with divorce and remarriage, the raising of her children and step-children, career change and caring for elderly parents.
Clark is looking forward to the event that she thinks will be good for people.
Participants in the free seminar will learn how to maximize their financial security, the library said.
Lob, a New Rochelle resident, has appeared on CNBC, CNN, FOX 5 News and News 12 Westchester, as well as being featured in The Wall Street Journal and The Journal News, the library said.
