Harrison Library Hosts Book Publishing Workshop

HARRISON, N.Y. -- Are you hoping to get your book published? The Harrison Library may be able to help you out.

Author Heather Tomlinson will host a "Writing for Publication" workshop Monday night. She will discuss the current publishing landscape, resources for authors and which scams to avoid. Tomlinson is author of several teen fantasy novels, including "The Swan Maiden," "Aurelie: A Faerie Tale" and "Toads and Diamonds." She has also worked in book distribution.

The workshop will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at the Harrison Public Library, 2 Bruce Ave.
