Harrison Youth Council To Host Parent Presentation

HARRISON, N.Y. -- The Harrison Youth Council is set to present a lecture addressing adolescent brain development on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

The Harrison Youth Council is sponsoring the presentation from Michael Nerney titled “Adolescents: What Goes on in their Brains?" at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13. Nerney is an internationally known lecturer, according to the release.

The lecture will discuss adolescent brain development, "with a special focus on the development of decision-making and intelligence," according to the release. Nerney is also set to offer recommendations on how parents can help their children "during this important developmental process," according to the release. 

The free lecture begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Harrison High School Cafeteria at 255 Union Avenue in Harrison.
