North Castle Police Respond to Custody Dispute

ARMONK, N.Y. -An Armonk man told North Castle Police Wednesday that his estranged wife pushed him and snatched his daughter out of his arms when he went to pick the child up.

The man said he feared what his wife would do in the future. The wife told police she did not push her husband and only took the child because the girl was reaching for her.

Around 8 a.m. on Wednesday a control dispatched the Armonk fire department to Gateway Land and Lake Street to respond to a report of trees and wires down. Conditions was not hazardous and traffic was not affected.

At 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to a possible altercation at 1 Kent Pl. in Armonk. When police arrived, they found two women engaged in a verbal dispute. One of the women told police her medication dosage was unbalanced and she was transported to the hospital voluntarily for evaluation.
