Edwin Lugo, of Calhoun Avenue, threatened a Norwalk man at the man’s Davenport Avenue home April 3, a day after Lugo was arrested on misdemeanor marijuana possession charges, police said. Lugo had been a passenger in the man’s car when he was arrested on the marijuana charges, but the man was not charged, police said.

According to Sgt. Lisa Cotto, Lugo tried to enter the man’s home, and when he was denied entry he threatened to kill the man and harm his mother and family. No injuries were reported.

Norwalk police said they notified Bridgeport police about the incident, and a warrant was obtained for Lugo’s arrest. He was picked up by Milford police Wednesday in an unrelated incident.

Lugo was released after posting $25,000 bond and is scheduled appear in Norwalk Superior on May 15.
