BETHEL, Conn. - Jay De Forest of Bethel died Feb. 17. He was 57.
De Forest was born Sept. 29, 1955, in Greenwich, son of Leroy and Elsye De Forest. He grew up in Greenwich later moving to Bethel. He was a master electrician.
De Forest is survived by his children, Jessica and Shannon De Forest of Slatington, Pa., Kim and Dennis Gilmore of Weare, N.H., Bill De Forest of Riverside and Josephine Usowski of Riversisde; his former wives, Caroline Krause and Nancy Elekes; nieces, nephew; and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held this summer in Bethel.
