A Calvert County man has been on a lottery hot streak since picking the clover out of his garden in June, culminating in a $50,000 windfall on a "Money Bag Multiplier" instant ticket.

Since coming across the lucky charm, the Lottery player has won multiple $50 prizes and $200 on scratch-off games, but that's just pocket change at this point.

While milking the string of good fortune, he picked up a $10 "Money Bag Multiplier" scratcher at Lusby FASTOP on HG Truman Road, which led to his five-figure prize.

The four-leaf clover has been in his wallet since he picked it up in June.

He said that he was in his car when he noticed that he had won big after scratching a number 23 with a $50,000 prize underneath. In awe of what had just transpired, the warehouse employee passed the ticket off to his wife for confirmation.

"I said to her, 'do you see what I see," he mused to Lottery officials. "You never expect anything like that."
