SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The public is invited to a birthday party celebration on Thursday, June 16 for the proprietor of a local shop.

Emily Hirsch, owner of Candy 'n Cards for almost 50 years, is turning 99 years old.

The party starts at 9:30 a.m. and will be held at Lange's of Scarsdale. 

Candy 'n Cards is located at 25 Spencer Pl.

Lange's is located at 57 Spencer Pl.
