Sleepy Hollow Club To Display Briarcliff Student Art

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- The department of visual arts at Briarcliff High School will open an art exhibition, "Art Salon," that will portrays students' painting, drawing, ceramics, photography and original short films on Thursday, April 10, from 6-8 p.m. at the Sleepy Hollow Country Club.

The club is at 777 Albany Post Road, Briarcliff.

Paintings and drawings ranging from still life and portraiture to landscape, including the works of National ‘Scholastic’ Silver Key and Regional Gold Key award winners and senior portfolios, will all be on view.

Vincent Desiderio, who is an internationally known artist from Marlborough Gallery in New York City, will be a guest speaker at the event. 

The event will include a silent auction of student art works celebrating the historic local site of the Hudson River landscape and paintings inspired by 20c Abstract Art.
