Missing Ridgefield Sisters Found in Wilton

A search for two Ridgefield girls ended successfully Tuesday night when they were found in Wilton at about 11 p.m. The sisters, 10 and 15, had been missing since about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

According to a Ridgefield Press report, Ridgefield Police Chief John Roche was driving them home from near Wilton High School.  Roche was in Wilton Center following leads Ridgefield Police received about the whereabouts of the girls.

The sisters live on Nod West Drive which is on the Wilton-Ridgefield border near Woodcock Nature Center.  Police and fire personnel from multiple towns combed the woods by the towns’ border looking for the girls. Ridgefield issued an emergency phone call to hundreds of homes in that area as well.
