Bergen County Police Officer Angel Amaro arrested 39-year-old Frank P. Milano on charges of DWI and assault by auto after he refused to take a breath test following the 7:15 p.m. crash Saturday on Route 17 North, Lt. James Mullin told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The 36-year-old female driver of the Lincoln Town Car was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with back and neck injuries, Mullin said.

Milano, who described himself as a Ramapo College student, was held overnight at BCPD headquarters until sober “since he could not provide or produce a responsible adult to pick him up as required by law,” the lieutenant said.
