Monday, Oct. 15

Leaf Pickup: Collection of leaves starts today and continues until Dec. 15. Leaves should be left on the curb.

Parenting Workshop: 7 to 8 p.m. The West Harrison Library will host “1 2 3 Magic: Effective Discipline,” which will address how to discipline children from 2 to 12 years old “without arguing, yelling, or spanking.” 2 Madison St., West Harrison.

PSAT: 7:45 a.m. The test will be administered at Harrison High School. 255 Union Ave., Harrison.

Parent Tour of LMK Middle School and Harrison High School: 9:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. The tour, led by Scott Fried and superintendent Louis Wool, will begin at LMK and be followed by a Q&A session. Wednesday, Oct. 17

Purchase PTA Meeting: 9:15 a.m. The Purchase PTA will meet at the school. 2995 Purchase St., Purchase.

Friday, Oct. 19

Harrison High Pep Rally: 7 p.m. The pep rally comes a day before the Harrison High School football team squares off against Rye High School. 255 Union Ave., Harrison.
