Tuesday, April 16

Better After 50's She Did It: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Better After 50 presents a day of events for women interested in shifting careers or starting their own businesses. There will be seminars, workshops, networking opportunities and a keynote address. Tickets are $95. Manhattanville College, 2900 Purchase St.

Wednesday, April 17

The Hidden Treasures of Westchester County: 7 p.m. Patrick Raftery from the Westchester County Historical Society will present a slideshow featuring Westchester landmarks such as Thomas Paine's Cottage and Washington Irving's Sunnyside. Harrison Public Library, 2 Bruce Ave.

Thursday, April 18

Albany Comes to Harrison: Noon to 2 p.m. The League of Women Voters of Harrison presents this luncheon with state Sen. George Latimer and Assemblyman David Buchwald. Lunch is $12. Harrison Public Library, 2 Bruce Ave.
