Purchase Symphony Orchestra Begins Fall Season With A Night in Paris: 7:30 p.m. The Purchase College Conservatory of Music’s Purchase Symphony Orchestra begins its fall season. Ransom Wilson will conduct and Richard Liverano, a 2012 Concerto Competition winner, will be featured on the trombone.  The program will include Dukas’ Fanfare; Fauré’s Pelléas et Mélisande; Tomasi’s Trombone Concerto and Saint-Saëns’ Symphony No. 3 (Organ). $20.
