Open Play: 11 a.m. to noon. Parents, grandparents, caregivers and children can meet up to cool off, play, read and have fun at the West Harrison Library, 2 Madison St., West Harrison.
Louis M. Klein Seventh and Eighth Grade Open House: 7:15 p.m. This event will take place at LMK Middle School. 50 Union Ave., Harrison.

Harrison High PTA Meeting: 9:30 a.m. This meeting will take place at Harrison High School. 255 Union Ave., Harrison.
Harrison Board of Ed Meeting: 7:15 p.m. This meeting will take place at LMK Middle School. 50 Union Ave., Harrison.
Financial Preparedness for Lifes Transitions: 7 to 9 p.m. The Harrison Public Library will host this financial event. 2 Bruce Ave., Harrison.
Thursday, Oct. 4
Mother Goose time: 10:30 to 11 a.m. Boys and girls 3 years old and younger, plus their siblings, can participate in this event at the West Harrison Library. 2 Madison St., West Harrison.
Purchase Elementary Open House: 7 p.m. This event will take place at Purchase Elementary School. 2995 Purchase Street, Purchase.
Friday, Oct. 5
Senior Citizens Club: Noon to 3 p.m. The Harrison Senior Citizens Club will get together to discuss items of interest and play bingo at the Veterans Building. For more information, call 914-227-7088. 210 Halstead Ave., Harrison.
Staying Connected with Your Teen: 10 a.m. to noon. This Harrison Youth Council sponsored event will help Japanese parents stay connected with their teenagers. 2 Bruce Ave., Harrison.
