What To Do In Harrison This Week

HARRISON, N.Y. – A holiday concert and board meeting highlight this week’s events in Harrison and West Harrison.

Monday, Dec. 10

Storyland: 10:30 to 11 a.m. Children ages 3 to 5 will read stories, listen to songs and do other activities. Siblings are welcome. Harrison Public Library, 2 Bruce Ave., Harrison.

Board games: 4 to 5 p.m. Friends and family members of all ages can roll the dice and play some old-fashioned board games in the Friends of the Library-sponsored event at the Harrison Public Library, 2 Bruce Ave., Harrison.

Harrison High School Fitness Center Grand Opening: 7:15 to 8 p.m. The new fitness center will be open to the public for the first time. 255 Union Ave., Harrison.

Tuesday, Dec. 11

Open Play: 11 a.m. to noon. Parents, grandparents, caregivers and children can meet up to cool off, play, read and have fun at the West Harrison Library, 2 Madison St., West Harrison.

Parsons Memorial Elementary Winter Concert: 7 p.m. This winter concert will take place at Parsons Memorial Elementary School. 200 Halstead Ave., Harrison.

Wednesday, Dec. 12

Harrison Avenue PTA Meeting: 9:15 a.m. This meeting will take place at Harrison Avenue Elementary School. 480 Harrison Ave., Harrison.

Purchase Elementary School PTA Meeting: 9:15 a.m. This meeting will take place at Purchase Elementary School. 2995 Purchase St., Purchase.

Elementary School Early Dismissal: 11:15 a.m. All Harrison elementary schools will dismiss early for parent-teacher conferences.

Board of Education Meeting: 8:15 p.m. The Harrison Board of Education will meet at the LMK Middle School library. 50 Union Ave., Harrison.

Thursday, Dec. 13

Harrison High School PTA Meeting: 9:30 a.m. This meeting will take place at Harrison High School. 255 Union Ave., Harrison.

Mother Goose time: 10:30 to 11 a.m. Boys and girls ages 3 and younger, plus their siblings, can participate in this event at the West Harrison Library. 2 Madison St., West Harrison.

Elementary School Early Dismissal: 11:15 a.m. All Harrison elementary schools will dismiss early for parent-teacher conferences.

Harrison High School Renaissance Festival: 7 p.m. 255 Union Ave., Harrison.

Friday, Dec. 14 Senior Citizens Club: Noon to 2 p.m. The Harrison Senior Citizens Club will get together to discuss items of interest and play Bingo at the Veterans Building. For more information, call 914-227-7088. 210 Halstead Ave., Harrison.
