HARRISON, N.Y. – Library events and an organizational meeting are scheduled for this weekend in Harrison. See our Events page for even more things to do.

Friday, Feb. 15 Open Play: 10 a.m. to noon. Parents, grandparents, caregivers and children can meet up to cool off, play, read and have fun at the Harrison Public Library, 2 Bruce Ave., Harrison.

Senior Citizens Club: Noon to 3 p.m. The Harrison Senior Citizens Club will get together to discuss items of interest and play bingo at the veterans building. For more information, call 914-227-7088. 210 Halstead Ave., Harrison.

Turkish Coffee - The Taste of Friendship: 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Join fellow patrons at the Harrison Public Library for a "great coffee experience." The event is sponsored by the Turkish Cultural Center of New York. 2 Bruce Ave., Harrison.

Chinese New Year Celebration: 2 to 3 p.m. Join Ed Young, an award-winning picture book illustrator and writer of more than 80 books, to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
