Monday, April 9
Schools Closed: All schools in the Harrison Central School District are closed today.
Italian Class: 1:45 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. Italian classes begin for 3 to 5-year-olds. Children will learn Italian through interactive, dynamic methods that include music, art, puppetry, dance and more. Theater Arts Rehearsal: 3:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Students at Parsons Memorial School will have rehearsals for Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, 200 Halstead Ave., Harrison.
Tennis Lessons: 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tennis lessons begin in Harrison at the tennis courts at Harrison Avenue School. The session lasts for 16 classes. Fees for kids in grades three through five is $320, while the fee for kids in grades six through nine is $480. Checks may be made payable to Jeff Green, 480 Harrison Ave., Harrison.
Creative Movement Through Dance: 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Children ages 24 will get an introduction to dance through creative movement games and imaginative stories. The fee is $105 for eight weeks.
