HARRISON, N.Y. — A variety of musical concerts at both the high school and college levels highlight this week's events in Harrison.

Monday, April 23

Italian Class : 1:45 to 3:20 p.m. Italian classes will be held for 3- to 5-year-olds. Children will learn Italian through interactive dynamic methods that include music, art, puppetry, dance and more. Cost is $160. Creative Movement Through Dance 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. Children ages 2 through 4 will get an introduction to dance through creative movement games and imaginative stories. The fee is $105 for eight weeks. Film Screening : 3 to 5 p.m. SUNY Purchase will show "Children of Promise: The Legacy of Robert F. Kennedy," a short documentary from Investigation Discovery that follows the success of three former youths served by the Robert F. Kennedy Children’s Action Corps on their courageous journeys from despair to inspiration. The film will be followed by a Q&A panel including the youths and staff profiled in the film. 735 Anderson Hill Road, Purchase.

Archery Class : 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Learn the basics of archery, including safety, shooting techniques, scoring, tackles and care maintenance. Registration fee is $75 for 10 one-hour sessions, Veterans Park on Crystal Street.

Spring Concert : 7 p.m. The Harrison High School Band, Orchestra and Chorus perform at the annual spring concert at the high school, 255 Union Ave.

SUNY College Tour : Some Harrison High School students will spend the day getting to see college campuses in the SUNY system.
