Monday, June 11

PTA Meeting: 9:30 a.m. The Louis M. Klein Middle School PTA will hold a meeting at the school, 50 Union Ave., Harrison.

Senior Scholastic Awards Night: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Harrison High School will hold an awards ceremony to honor seniors for their academic achievements, 255 Union Ave., Harrison.

Exploring Repertory at Purchase College: 7:30 p.m. This intimate and intriguing series provides an in-depth view of works from the company’s extensive repertory each evening, without lights or costumes. Delve into these works with Doug Varone, his dancers, and his collaborators, while they take you on a journey to discover the inner workings of a single piece of the company’s diverse repertory. Arts and Crafts at West Harrison Library: Children of all ages are invited to the West Harrison Library to take part in arts and crafts. Whatever they make they can bring home, 2 Madison St., West Harrison. (914) 948-2092

Swimming Lessons: 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. The Harrison Recreation Department is offering swimming lessons for children in grades K-5 at the Ron Belmont Pool in West Harrison. Kids will get six lessons over the next three weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The fee is $100, made payable to the Town/Village of Harrison. Passidomo Park, West Harrison.

Wednesday, June 13

Regents Exams: Students at Louis M. Klein Middle School and Harrison High School begin their Regents exams today.

Eco-awareness with Beth Rhines: 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Come to the Harrison Pubic Library for an engaging and active experience with Beth Rhines, a senior environmental educator and volunteer coordinator at Teatown Lake Reservation. She will teach you tools that you can use in your everyday life to become more aware of the natural world around you and help you learn about the animals and plants that surround you every day, 2 Bruce Ave., Harrison.

Thursday, June 14

Spring Musical: 9:30 a.m., 7:30 p.m. Harrison Avenue School fifth-graders will perform a musical for their peers in the morning and their parents at night, 480 Harrison Ave., Harrison.

Computer Orientation Class: 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. The Harrison Public Library will hold a computer orientation class dealing with how to use the library catalogue and the Internet. 2 Bruce Ave., Harrison.

Family Photos at West Harrison Library: 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. The Community, Civility and Compassion series continues at the West Harrison Library where people will be able to have their family picture taken and tell their story, 2 Madison St., West Harrison.

Purchase College Dance Performance: 7:30 p.m. Purchase College presents an Evening of Works by Netta Yerushalmy and Alex Springer & Xan Burley. View a sampling of some company members’ various creative undertakings. Original works will be shown by Varone Company dancers, Alex Springer & Xan Burley, co-directors of alex|xan: The Median Movement (www.themedianmovement.com), and by Netta Yerushalmy (www.nettay.com), who has just been awarded the Guggenheim Foundation’s 2012 Fellowship in Choreography.
