HARRISON, N.Y. -- A baseball camp, another camp for aspiring filmmakers and various library activities highlight this week's events in Harrison.

Monday, June 25

Diamond Dreams Baseball Camp : 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A baseball camp focusing on the fundamentals, proper techniques and situational challenges begins Monday and continues all week. The cost is $199 for kids in grades K-2 and $250 for kids ages 9-12, Passidomo Park, West Harrison.

Filmakers Camp : 8:30 a.m. - noon. This Filmmakers Ink program is for those that have an interest or a passion for film and film acting and would like to learn how to make good movies. Professional filmmakers will give you the opportunity to experience the movie-making process, from script writing through pre-production and filming. Yoga Class : 5:30-6:30 p.m. A yoga class focusing on stretching and strengthening, breathing techniques and body/mind awareness will be at the Harrison Community Center. The cost is $25. Check can be made payable to the Town/Village of Harrison, 210 Halstead Ave., Harrison.

Tuesday, June 26

Computer Orientation Class : 10:30-11:30 a.m. The Harrison Public Library will have a computer class dealing with the library catalogue and the Internet, 2 Bruce Ave., Harrison.

Swimming Lessons : 4–5 p.m. The Harrison Recreation Department is offering swimming lessons for children in grades K-5 at the Ron Belmont Pool in West Harrison. Kids will get six lessons in the next three weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The fee is $100, made payable to the Town/Village of Harrison. Passidomo Park, West Harrison.

War Veteran Talk : 7 p.m. Manhattanville College is hosting National Book Critics Circle Award-winning journalist Philip Gourevitch, author of "The Ballad of Abu Ghraib" and Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post columnist Joby Warrick, author of "The Triple Agent," along with Iraq War veteran poet Nathan Lim. 2900 Purchase St., Purchase.

Bible Study : 7:30 p.m. The Lake Street Full Gospel Church will have a Bible study meeting, 720 Lake St., West Harrison.

Circle Time for Tots : 10-10:30 a.m. and 11-11:30 a.m. Children ages 1-3 are invited to the Harrison Public Library for story time, 2 Bruce Ave., Harrison.

Library Volunteer Orientation : 2:30-3:30 p.m. The Harrison Public Library will have an orientation for volunteers of its summer reading program, 2 Bruce Ave., Harrison.

Thursday, June 28

Mother Goose Time : 10:30-11 a.m. The West Harrison Library will have a story time session for children 3 and under, 2 Madison St., West Harrison.
