HARRISON, N.Y. A retired Johnson & Johnson executive will lead a meditation event at the Harrison Public Library on Sept. 10 to help people deal with stress, anger, and conflict in their lives.
Thats just the way life is, said Judith Clark, the librarian who coordinated the event. I think it will be a very good program.
Jim Rose will lead the interactive event and show the audience how meditation is a powerful tool for dealing with stress, anger, and conflict, according to the library. Rose will also explain how meditation also is the key to a rich inner life, Clark said.
Rose has 35 years of experience in human resources management, employee development, and conflict resolution, the library said. The meditation veteran currently conducts workshops and training sessions throughout the world.
For more information about the event, call the library at 914-835-0324. The program will take place Sept. 10 at 7 p.m.
