HARRISON, N.Y. -- One of the stages in the Harrison-based Can’t Lose Diet weight loss program is fat burning. Sweets and treats, however, do not have to be eliminated to achieve weight loss goals..
Can’t Lose Diet owner Pat Hall related the story of a client who passed on a mouth-watering cake at a recent engagement party. The temptation sparked inspiration.
Hall’s client sliced up two apples and sprinkled them with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, salt, two packets of stevia (a natural sweetener) and a quarter cup of water. She then baked the treat at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. A dollop of yogurt and crushed pecans can be added if you are not in fat-burning mode, Hall said.
Skipping sweets is one misconception, Hall said, while another is that eating healthy is also more expensive.
For starters, people generally eat less quantity when they eat more quality. A package of frozen veal scallopini from high-volume store, such as Costco, goes for around $25. Divide the package into about 10 servings and freeze. After thawing, add lemon and garlic and grill for four minutes. Topped with steamed mushrooms. The total cost is less than $4 per serving.
Eating healthy requires smart grocery shopping and having the ingredients in hand. It’s not about breaking the bank.
In one 40 day period, Can’t Lose Diet can help dieters lose 20 pounds. The business also developed maintenance techniques to keep added weight gone for good. For more information, contact the company at 844-226-8567. More information is also available on its website and Facebook page.
