New White Plains Doctor Brings Focus On Patient Quality, Safety

To ensure they remain one of the highest regarded area hospitals, White Plains Hospital has announced the addition of Dr. Alan Multz to its growing team. Joining as the associate medical director for Quality and Complex Care, he will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary teams and promoting continued improvements in patient quality and safety.

An expert in graduate medical education, Multz has also trained hundreds of medical students, internal medicine residents and pulmonary/critical care fellows over the past 25 years.

Having first earned his medical degree from Boston University, Multz completed his internship, residency and fellowships in pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine, Multz is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American College of Physicians, the American College of Critical Care Medicine and is a member of the American Thoracic Society.
