Taking Extra Vitamins Increases Cancer, Heart Disease Risk, Study Says

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A recent study suggests taking more than the daily recommended doses of vitamins may have an adverse impact and could lead to potentially deadly diseases, according to Tech Times.

Researches studied thousands of patients over a 10 year period and found that taking too much of a vitamin supplement could lead to heart disease or cancer, Tech Times said. 

Researchers were quick to point out that taking multi-vitamins in the correct doses is still beneficial, but also pointed out there is no substitute for healthy eating, Tech Times reported.
