HARRISON, N.Y. - Frank Anthony DiGiacomo of Harrison died March 24 at age 74.
The son of Americo and Biondi (Longo) DiGiacomo, he was born March 26, 1937 in White Plains. DiGiacomo graduated cum laude from Mercy College. As a chemical engineer, he received multiple patents for his works.
DiGiacomo was also an accomplished musician, making appearances on American Bandstand and the Clay Cole Show as well as at the Stardust Hotel in Las Vegas, Nev. He was an avid golfer at Rye Country Club and won many county-wide tournaments.
Surviving are his partner of 43 years Ann (Pascale) Doniger, his daughters Donna (Joe) DeLaurentis, Nancy (Bill) Pearson, Lisa (Stephen) Soviero and Darcy (Carolyn Mix) Doniger, his son Frank (Doreen) DiGiacomo, his brother Americo (Paula) DiGiacomo, 13 grandchildren many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home in Mamaroneck. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Gregory's Church in Harrison, followed by interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in White Plains.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America.
