WEST HARRISON, N.Y. – Grazia "Grace" Barile of West Harrison died May 21, with family at her side, after a three-year battle with lung cancer. She was 71.
Barile was born July 13, 1940 in White Plains to Grace Adduci and John Sibilia. She is survived by two daughters; Maria and her husband, Mark Stavitski, of Matthews, N.C.; and Elizabeth and her husband, Ted O’Rourke, of West Harrison; and two sons, Biagio "Benny" Barile of West Harrison, and Dean Barile of New Milford, Conn. She was predeceased by her husband, Pasquale; and a son, Anthony Barile, in 2004.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Church in West Harrison, with the Rev. Christopher Monturo officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in White Plains.
