HARRISON, N.Y. - Christina M. Gin-Nielsen of Harrison died Jan. 16 at the age of 49.
Born June 5, 1962 in New Orleans, La., she was the daughter of Que Tan and Yeut Ming Gin. She attended Boston College and New York University, receiving a bachelor's degree in economics and political science and a master's of business administration in finance and international business.
Gin-Nielsen was a former vice president at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers. For the last seven years, she worked as a senior vice president for global human resources at XL Group in Stamford, Conn.
She is survived by her husband Christian Eric Nielsen of Harrison, her son Scott, her daughter Lauren, her brothers John (Esther) Gin of New Orleans and Richard Gin of San Francisco and her parents.
The family will receive friends at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
