HARRISON, N.Y. -- Jody Rollins of Harrison was recently elected to the Food Bank for Westchester's board of directors.

Rollins was one of four business leaders in the community who were elected to the board recently, according to a news release. Greg Werlinich, Maria Freburg and Sue Tsorkis were also named to the board, according to the release.

“We are pleased to welcome these distinguished business leaders to our Board of Directors," said Food Bank Executive Director Ellen Lynch in the release. "Their expertise and insight will greatly enhance the Food Bank for Westchester’s impact as we lead the fight for hunger relief and work to engage communities in an effort to create a hunger-free environment in Westchester."

Rollins is a senior vice president for Chubb & Son and the Regional Branch Manager for the Westchester Region which includes the Westchester, Albany, Long Island and Rochester branches, according to the release.

"During her 26-year Chubb career, Rollins has held a variety of underwriting and leadership positions," representatives said in the release. "She is a board member of the Women’s Development Council at Chubb which has a dedicated mission to promote women and leadership at the organization."

Rollins also serves as a formal mentor to several domestic Chubb employees and international employees, according to the release.

“We strive to have the widest possible range of businesses and organizations represented on our Board of Directors,” Rick Rakow, Food Bank chairman of the board, said in the release. “The fact that we have so many top-level Westchester business executives joining our board is a measure of the Food Bank for Westchester’s strength and vitality as a nonprofit leader in the community.”
