The school supply drive will provides new supplies and backpacks for low-income or needy children. The campaign is collecting new backpacks for kids, as well as new basic supplies including notebooks, folders, pencils, crayons, highlighters, glue sticks and markers.
“It is a pleasure to work with Children's Hope Chest in the Backpacks for Hope program," said Pediatrician Dr. Amy Eisenberg, of Harrison's Scarsdale Medical Group. "It provides Scarsdale Medical Group with the opportunity to make a real difference this upcoming school year."
Donations can be dropped off in the pediatric office, located at 600 Mamaroneck Ave., in Harrison, until Tuesday, Aug. 9.
