WEST HARRISON, N.Y. – Catherine "Kay" McDowall of West Harrison died April 19. She was 91.
She was born Feb. 11, 1921 to John and Mary Guinta Surace. McDowall was retired from United Technologies of Stratford, Conn. She was a member of the West Harrison Senior Center and the Moose Club of Bridgeport, Conn.
McDowall is survived by two brothers, Joseph (Eleanor) Surace, of West Harrison, and Fred Surace, of Florida; two sisters-in-law and a grandson. She was predeceased by her husband, James, in 1985.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 4 to 8 p.m., at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Christopher Monturo officiating. Burial will follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum in Hartsdale.
