WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- It's nearly impossible to miss the hundreds of tulips, and daffodils, that grace Route 127 between White Plains and Harrison.

The White Plains Beautification Foundation gets credit for the planting and upkeep of a prominent tulip bed on a median on Route 127, also known as North Street, just south of White Plains High School and the White Plains YWCA
