HARRISON, N.Y. – Summer camp begins Monday in Harrison as the recreation department has locations at four different places downtown and in West Harrison.

The summer camps run for the next six weeks. "Camp Seaside" is centered at Passidomo Park in West Harrison for kids going into grades one through five, while "Camp Brookside" will be downtown. Kids going into grades six through eight will be at the Mintzer Center in West Harrison while kids of the same age downtown will be at Louis M. Klein Middle School.

A brochure released by the Harrison Recreation Department said that the camps offer numerous sports, arts and crafts, swimming, music and special events. There will be a $50 charge on top of the $450 fee for the camp for anyone who wants to enroll their child now. If a non-resident wants their child to attend any of the camps, it will cost $1,100.

For more information, call the Harrison Recreation Department at (914) 670-3035.
