Tina Valentino, 88, Ex-Harrison Restaurant Owner

HARRISON, N.Y. – Tina Valentino, 88, a former Harrison restaurant owner, died April 8 after an extended illness.

She was born Feb. 26, 1924 to Julia and Angelo Amatrudo. A resident of Mamaroneck, Valentino owned Casa De Villa Restaurant in Harrison, she was known as fun-loving and kind. Casa De Villa was open from 1955 to 1997. Valentino was married to her husband, Paul, for 69 years. 

Surviving are two daughters, Carol Valentino, and Rochelle (Mike) Pasquale; a son, Paul (Annie); four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Valentino is also survived by her brother, Kenneth Amatrudo and his wife Rita. She was predeceased by three brothers, Marc, Sonny, and Frankie; and four sisters, Henrietta, Lucille, Rose and Grace.  

The family will receive visitors from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home in Mamaroneck. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Gregory the Great Church in Harrison. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Port Chester.
