Enea, a White Plains native who runs Satellite Music Studios in Mount Kisco, is playing himself on "Teen Titans Go," which is airing on the Cartoon Network this week. The episodes are based on a song he co-wrote called "The Night Begins To Shine."

The song, recorded by Enea's band B.E.R., was written for the Warner Brothers music library and was used for the show on Oct. 2015. Once it aired, the song started taking off and charted on iTunes.  The song has more than four million views on YouTube.

"The song has a real powerful message," Enea, who offers music lessons and has a recording studio at Satellite, said. "We've gotten a lot of messages from kids with autism or with other disabilities who say the song gave them power. It's been really great."

Enea said the song is about how out of darkness, there is light. He said he had the song in his head for many years and began playing around with co-writer Carl Burnett. After the song became popular, they were invited to appear as characters on the show.

The song has since been covered by Cee-Lo Green and Fall Out Boy. Enea said he didn't even know they were going to originally use the song until a producer messaged him.

While he hasn't seen himself on TV yet, he said he has been deluged with texts from family and friends.

"They are ecstatic," Enea said. "Everyone is watching and posting it about on Facebook. It's really cool."

When he's not recording hit songs for TV shows, Enea is also the frontman for the Frank Enea Band, which has a new record coming out soon.

"Having a hit song is great," Enea said. "You want more. It's such an honor."
