Accidents and Roadwork on County Roads

PELHAM, N.Y. – Accidents and roadwork caused closures on some roads in Westchester County on Wednesday.An accident occurred on I-95 northbound between Exit 22, Midland Avenue, and the Connecticut state line at approximately 8:35 a.m., according to the New York State Thruway Authority.Road maintenance operations on I-95 southbound between Exit 22, Midland Avenue, and the Connecticut state line have closed the left lane until 5:00 p.m.More roadwork on I-95 occurred southbound around exit 18A, Fenimore Road. The right lane will be closed until 12:00 p.m.A debris spill on the Sprain Brook Parkway northbound just north of the Grasslands Road exit, NY 100C in Greenburgh, has blocked the left lane, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.An accident on the Taconic State Parkway northbound just north of the Underhill Avenue exit, CR 131 in Yorktown, has blocked the right shoulder.
