Their mother, Anamarie DiPietro thanked everyone for their "love and support," the article says.

Her husband, who was a newly retired White Plains police, officer killed Alissa Marie, 18, and Deanna Nicole, 14, on Feb. 21, and the family's three dogs, then killed himself inside the home on Adelphi Avenue.

Dozens of people attended Sunday's ceremony, when the bench was unveiled by Harrison EMS, then put in front of the Pleasant Ridge Road headquarters, where Alissa, who was a senior in high school, had volunteered, according to the story.
