HARRISON, N.Y. - Wire damage near the Harrison train station's New Haven line has created roughly 10-minute delays and changes to the boarding procedures, a spokesperson for Metro North Railroad said. Walkways have been put in place on the Manhattan-bound lines in Harrison, Larchmont, and Mamaroneck.
The Manhattan-bound local track near Harrison experienced overhead wire damage and there will be slight delays until the problems are alleviated, the railroad said. Commuters should use caution when boarding and should pay close attention to their train schedules until the delays are gone.
