HARRISON, N.Y. -- A program to start selling E-Z Passes in Harrison tops this week's news.
- Next month the Harrison Town Clerk's office will begin selling E-Z Pass "On the Go" tags for $25 apiece. The tags can be used immediately after being purchased, and will be available to residents and non-residents.
- Sharon Horvath, an associate professor of art at Purchase College, has won a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Grant to teach and study in India next year. She will be conducting research on Ragamala, a type of Indian miniature painting.
- A group of eight girls from the International School of Gymnastics in Harrison recently took part in the U.S. Gymnastics Xcel Regional Competition in Boxborough, Mass. The girls joined other gymnasts from across New York in the competition, and the silver division team won third place overall.
