Fare Increases Start For Metro-North, Bee-Line Riders

Single-ride bus fares on all Bee-Line bus routes, except the BxM4C Westchester-Manhattan Express, are now $2.75 as opposed to $2.50, according to a press release issued by Bee-Line.

Metro-North and Long Island Railroad fares went up by 4 percent, CBS New York reported.

The 30-day MetroCard, which allows unlimited rides on New York City MTA buses and subways, will now cost $58.25 instead of the former $56, according to Bee-Line.

Cash customers can expect to pay 6 to 10 percent more for tolls at MTA bridges and tunnels, CBS New York reported.
