Johnson supervises compliance of the county’s 2009 housing settlement, which requires Westchester officials to arrange for 750 affordable housing units in 31 communities with few African-American and Hispanic residents.

In 2014, Johnson said Harrison was one of the communities with the worst record for providing affordable housing, lohud.com reported.

Johnson has ordered Astorino to provide all communication involving Westchester, Harrison, and the housing developers, as well as information about what incentives the county has offered Harrison to encourage town officials to require affordable housing, according to lohud.com.
