HARRISON, N.Y. - Lynne Wesolowski of White Plains will have artwork on display in Harrison starting Oct. 9 when the Harrison Council for the Arts presents "My Favorite Things," musings in water media at the Harrison library.
The exhibit will include a varied collection of realistic and abstract works on paper reflecting Gemini duality and will be shown from Oct. 9 to Nov. 4 with an opening reception Oct. 15 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The reception will be held at the downtown library at 2 Bruce Ave.
Wesolowski worked for General Foods with her husband and lived in California, Dallas and Denver. She was also known to be an active in her community while her children were growing up.
But close to 12 years ago, Wesolowski developed an interest in watercolor and began taking classes.
"I'm still working on it," she said.
Wesolowski has exhibited in Westchester, Connecticut and Florida. She is a member of the Scarsdale Art Association, the Art Society of Old Greenwich and the Fort Myers Beach Art Association.
The exhibit may be viewed Monday and Wednesday 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, Thursday-Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
