HARRISON, N.Y. – The recipient of Harrison’s Citizen of the Year Award will be announced at Thursday’s Town Board meeting.
Recreation Department Supervisor Gerry Salvo presents the award during the “Great To Live In Harrison” event in October. “It’d be a great honor to be citizen of the year – to be appreciative of what people did for the town,” he said.
Citizens are nominated by their fellow residents for the award and a committee, which comprises some past winners, decides the most deserving recipient.
